WHAT IS SOLAR PV?
Solar panels, also known as photovoltaics (PV), capture the sun’s energy and convert it into electricity that you can use in your business. Solar panels are made from photovoltaic cells, which are grouped together and capture the sun’s energy. When light shines on the material, electrons are ‘knocked loose’, creating a flow of electricity. The cells don’t need direct sunlight to work, they can work on a cloudy day. However, the stronger the sunshine, the more electricity generated. An inverter then converts the energy from the solar cells (DC) into electricity for your business (AC). Your business will use this power as you generate it and you’ll import any extra you need from the grid. Adding a battery to your solar panel system allows you to store up the power you create to when and how you want, giving you more self- sufficiency from the grid and saving you more money.

STAGE 1 - AUDIT
One of our expert engineers will take the time to visit your site to assess your suitability for solar. Every site is different – so we look at the equipment you have on site, your current energy usage and the roof space.
STAGE 2 - ENERGY SAVING REPORT & FUNDING
Using the information gathered from the site survey, we will provide you with a comprehensive quotation & report.
The report will outline, a detailed design of the proposed installation, the proposed savings, different systems available and finally, funding options (including Capex, 0% finance options or Government approved grant*).
Our team strive to ensure that the monthly cost of the unit is exceeded by the savings – leaving you cash positive from day one.

STAGE 3 - INSTALLATION
The next stage is to get your equipment installed and start saving. We have a dedicated, professional team who will complete the installation of the solar system. To avoid disruption to your business routines, we can arrange for installations to take place over a weekend or overnight.
STAGE 4 - GUARANTEES & MAINTENANCE
Once your solar system is installed, we will provide you with the related guarantees so you can be safe in the knowledge that your energy saving equipment is there for the long run.
All of our solar systems are guaranteed for a minimum of 10 years with 25-year performance warranty. We also offer an Operations and Maintenance package to give you further peace of mind.
